We have sophomore Ammon Williams out of Mangham, LA . A 6’4 297lbs Left Guard with a 3.5 GPA ending the season with 43 knockdowns and 67 effort plays. Ammon’s high school were state runner last season. Ammon will keep going to camps to further better himself. Gridiron Football wishes him the best at the next level!
What has football taught you that you think will help you most in college life?
Football has taught me that just because good, doesn’t mean that you’ll always be the best at what you do.
Are you planning to play football in college, or focus more on academics?
Im planning on playing college ball while focusing on my grades not letting it drop below a 3.5 at the most.
What made you choose the college you’re heading to?
I haven’t chosen a college yet but if I had to decide my top college is either LSU or USC because of their communities and football programs.
Who pushed you the most to become the player (and person) you are today?
The person who pushed me the most to become the player and person I am today is my mom, because of how much she has done for me and how she pushes me to strive to be the best version of myself.
What’s one lesson a younger teammate could learn from your journey?
A lesson that a younger teammate could learn from my journey is to be coachable, being a good teammate, working hard, and most of all caring for your teammates.
How do you stay motivated when practices or games get tough?
I stay motivated when practices or games get tough by cheering on my teammates and getting everyone hype before we go back on the field.
How has balancing school, football, and life shaped your time management?
Balancing school, football, my life and other sports has shaped my time management because I put my time into my grades and football while being able to stay social.
Five years from now, where do you hope football and your education have taken you?
Five years from now I hope football and education have taken to one of my dream colleges
