Is football the only sport you play?

“I also play basketball, baseball, and run track, but I do not focus as much on those, as football is my main priority.”

Which sport is your favorite between them?

“Football.”

If you could pick any place to cater for the team, who would it be?

“If I could have anyone cater the team, it would be Panda Express.”

Where is your dream vacation location?

“Somewhere far away, ideally Rome.”

Do you have a favorite athlete?

“My favorite player is Ray Lewis, a former LB for the Ravens. He gives off this intensity while providing motivation; it’s a good mix.”

Greatness doesn’t live in the crowd. It’s found when you dare to go the opposite direction.

If you could add or take away anything in football, what would you choose?

“If I could take anything away from the game of football, it would be to remove penalties for celebrations like dancing.”

If you could no longer play football, what would you do?

“I would go study Kinesiology and become a physical therapist. That’s my goal anyway.”

What is your dream school?

“My dream school would be the University of Lafayette for convenience, my family is a big priority for me, and I would like to stay close to home.”

Are there any specific game day rituals you follow?

“My pre-game ritual is to pray together as a team for safety and the ability to honor God through our game.”

Is faith a big part of your life?

“Faith is a huge part of my life. I go to a small, Christian private school and attend church 1-2x a week. I’m actually starting a new Bible study group on the first of the month. I realistically would like to go to Nelson University or Louisiana Christian University, but I haven’t been offered a scholarship to LCU.”

Was there a school you always looked forward to playing against?

“A school I always looked forward to playing against was John Paul the Great Academy. It was always at the state championship, we were consistently runner up, but it caused me and my teammate to grow closer through adversity.”

What are your biggest strengths?

A major strength of mine is my leadership abilities. My Christian character allows me to truly lead others on and off the field.”

What are your weaknesses?

“My weakness, I think, would be my field IQ. I’m used to playing 8-man football versus 11-man, and believe that in order to succeed, I need to be able to read cues and understand plays.”

Are you looking to improve any specific skills or tactics, besides the field IQ?

“I’m always trying to improve everything.”

Who is the role model in your life?

“My role model is my coach, Carrol Olivier. He has been my coach since my freshman year for football and basketball. He is a man of God and helps teach us to be unwavering in our faith, while putting in his all.”

What lessons did you learn from playing in the bowl game?

“The lesson I learned from the bowl game was that even though some players might be better and others might be worse, in the end, you are all playing for the same team and must come together. Playing with strangers creates a bond like no other.”
