Meet our latest Diamond in the Rough Jarrison Reese the WR/DB out of the class of 2026. Jarrison is a blazing quick receiver who runs a daunting 4.4 40 yard dash time. With this blazing speed he is a constant threat for an end-around or a jet sweep as well as any deep throws downfield. Jarrison’s extremely versatile due to this speed as he returns for Church Point as well meaning he plays during offense, defense, and special teams. Jarrison has been first team all-district over the past two seasons and has helped in Church Point’s impressive 8-2 season going into the playoffs this week.

Who got you into football?
My brothers, I looked up to my brothers and they had a good circle going on so I just continue to keep it going.
Was there a play that made you pick your position?
One play, I was in pewee. I told my coach that I got confidence to run and catch the ball so he lined me up as a wide receiver and they threw the ball up to me and I made a game-winning play.
Was there a certain player you tried to emulate?
When I first started I looked at Jamarr Chase, Justin Jefferson, and Malik Nabers.
Do you have a favorite player?
Justin Jefferson…he humble and stays to himself and he can make plays on the field.
What player would you compare yourself to?
Jamarr Chase cause he’s got speed and he’s shifty.
What’s your strongest attribute in football?
I’d say my speed and ability to catch the ball.
Dream football college?
Alabama, cause they’ve had good elite receivers that I look up to.
What’s your biggest motivator?
I’m motivated because I’ve got people, that want me to do better things in my life and I want to do stuff for my family.
Favorite football move to hit somebody with?
I’d say a jump cut
What’s your favorite part about football?
Making plays on the field and winning. And having a chance to go to that dome.
