DITR: Colin Baptiste

Colin Baptiste is a class of 2022 outside linebacker at Southside High in Youngsville, LA. He is 6’3 and weighs 210 pounds. Colin is an aggressive outside linebacker. He has the ability to keep eyes in the backfield and use his strength to his advantage. He can make impressive tackles as well as deflecting the pass. Some of his achievements include 2nd Team All District and he maintains a 3.0 GPA.

Tell me a little bit about yourself.

Im from Youngsville. One of my hobbies is playing video games, football. I’m going to school for Computer Science.

How did you get into football?

I got into it because my played and it was something I was really good at.

Can you give me some insight of what is going through your mind before a game?

Reviewing every play and possibility of our opponent and how we can stop them.

What is something you’ve learned in football that you’ve been able to apply in everyday life?

To never give up. You can always come out on top.

What is the best advice you have received from a coach?

No matter what happens, you can always come out on top.

What is something that keeps you motivated to be a good athlete?

My dreams of making it far.

What are you most excited for when you think about your future in football?

Playing under the lights in front of hundreds of people.
