Wendell Newton is a running back from St. Augustine High School in New Orleans, LA. The 2021 recruit stands at 5’7 and weighs around 165 pounds. Newton has a 40 of 4.5, bench press of 315, 415 squat, and a 225 clean. Newton has the ability to run around a defender or through them. He has good leadership on and off the field with a GPA of 2.7 and he will soon be taking the ACT.
