D.I.T.R. – Hayden Bonnette

Hayden Bonnette is a 5’4″ 190 lbs linebacker for Marksville High School in Marksville, Louisiana. Hayden competed at our Gridiron Football camp in Eunice, Louisiana on February 25th. He ran a 4.97 40 yard dash along with a 4.97 shuttle time. Hayden is the type of linebacker who is not afraid of any contact. He can take down the quarterback, and make an impact in the passing game shedding blocks. He is equally impactful in the run game, making an impact on plays where it does not show up in the stat sheet. Check out our Q&A below!

What is your favorite thing about playing football?

Connections I have made with my football brothers, and the sport itself

You will have brothers for life with this sport

What has been your favorite football memory?

Sophomore year, playing DeRidder, starting on my birthday

What sports do you play outside of football?

Nothing really, devoted myself to football

Who is the player you idolize your game after?

Drew Brees, because of his attitude in life and the game

What is your favorite NFL team?

New Orleans Saints

Who do you consider to be your role model?

My friends, family, especially my grandfather

How do you balance school and football?

My main focus is school, because without school, you can’t go far in life

How do you prepare yourself for a game?

Getting good rest the night before, and then eating well and looking over my playbook

What is your favorite pre-game meal?

Pizza or hamburgers

What is the best aspect of your game?

My attitude towards it, and how I never quit

What separates you from others?

My attitude, I strive to be the best I can in everything

Being there for your brothers
