One of the top offensive weapons for one of the hottest offenses in the state of Louisiana has committed to play in the 2024 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game and that is St. Edmund High School (Eunice, LA) WR Blake Moran.
Playing for the current undefeated St. Edmund Blue Jays, Moran has played a key part in giving them their first 5-0 start since 2008. In a run dominated offense, the Blue Jays’ speedy wide receiver has stepped up as a reliable pass catcher for Kane West with five grabs, but for close to 200 yards and three touchdowns.
Moran earned an invitation to play in the 2024 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game after having a dominant showing at the offseason Elite Camp Series for Gridiron Football, which was held at his school at St. Edmund. At the camp, the 5’11, 175 pound wide receiver ran a 4.5/40 and showed off his agility with one of the camp’s all-time fastest shuttle times with a 4.11.
Not only is he fast and agile, but Moran is physical and is an incredible route runner. Those traits were shown most notably the previous week against North Central with 136 receiving yards and two touchdowns in only one half of play.
Blake Moran is a great example of a student athlete in the classroom posting a 3.2 GPA and also is the schools’ shortstop on the baseball field showing what kind of playmaker he is. He has yet to receive any offers, but he is hoping that a great performance at the 2024 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game will be a great opportunity to showcase his talents.
“I’m very excited to have the opportunity to play in this game because not only is it an experience, but it definitely will get me some exposure. I would like to get at least 100 yards receiving with a touchdown by the end of the game.”

The 2024 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game will be played on Monday, December 30th at Memorial Stadium in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
