Silliman High School (Clinton, LA) defensive end Isaac Garba has committed to play in the 2025 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game, which will be held at Louisiana Christian University in Pineville, Louisiana on Tuesday, December 30th.
At 6’0, 240 pounds, Garba is a force to be reckoned with not only on defense, but as a bruising ball carrier as well. In fact, for the Wildcats, he had over 1,000 yards rushing and 100 tackles, which is a rare feat.
As one of the most talented prospects from the MAIS ranks, Garba has racked up many awards and accomplishments including earning All-District Defensive MVP honors, All-State honors, Team MVP honors, and also played in the MAIS Football Futures Game last year.
Ranked as a three-star prospect by Gridiron Football, it is Garba’s combination of pure power and quickness that makes him a nightmare regardless of what side of the ball he is lined up at. In the weight room, Garba can squat over 500 pounds, but at the same time, showed off his 4.7/40 speed at our Gridiron Football Elite Camp earlier this spring at Lamar Dixon Expo Center.
It was at that camp where he earned his official invite to play in the 2025 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game. Right now, Garba has received attention from Southland schools such as Northwestern State and McNeese State, but he wants to show colleges what he can do at a big level for this year’s bowl game.
“I’m a hard worker. I put the time in the weight room. Football is a team sport and in order to be successful, you have to be unselfish and I am willing to do whatever it takes for the team.”
