Richwood High School (Monroe, LA) LB Jylon Dade has committed to play in the 2025 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game, which will be held at Louisiana Christian University in Pineville, Louisiana on Tuesday, December 30th.
Rated as a three star prospect by Gridiron Football, the 6’1, 205 pound linebacker/safety hybrid is an explosive playmaker. Dade just seems to have an eye for the football and times plays brilliantly whether it is making big hits behind the line of scrimmage, getting interceptions, or forcing fumbles.
Dade was a key contributor for a Rams team that had quite a turnaround season in 2025. After going winless in 2024, Richwood turned the tables by not only having a winning season at 6-5, but also notching a playoff victory.
After earning Defensive MVP honors as a junior, Dade followed it up with an impactful senior season posting 87 total tackles, 4 forced fumbles, 11.5 TFLs, 1 INT, and also scoring two touchdowns in 2025.
Not only a standout linebacker, but Dade is a great overall athlete that is an All-District selection as a baseball player and a state champion basketball player. With a 3.3 GPA, Dade is excited to showcase his talents and getting another opportunity to play in front of college coaches.
“It’s a blessing, you know. Every time I get to step on the field and prove myself another time and get in front of people to show myself, it’s a blessing so I take every chance that I get.”
