Patterson High School (Patterson, LA) QB Hayven Keller has committed to play in the 2025 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game, which will take place on Tuesday, December 30th at Louisiana Christian University in Pineville, Louisiana.
Entering his third year as the starting quarterback for the Lumberjacks, Keller was in store for a big season and he did exactly that in 2025. In his senior year, Keller threw the football all over the yard as he passed the ball for a staggering 2,386 yards and 31 touchdowns this season.
Along with a talented core of wide receivers to throw the ball to, it was the Lumberjacks’ high flying passing attack that kept the team in games this season. Even though there were not a lot of wins this season, Keller showed up as a great leader for his team as he was honored as the KWBJ Player of the Game leading the Lumberjacks to an upset victory over H.L. Bourgeois and he also led the team to another big win over their archrivals Berwick.
At 6’1, 185 pounds, Keller has shown his ability this season as a big play quarterback completing a lot of deep balls while also showing that he can beat defenses with his legs too. There have been some colleges that have noticed Keller’s dual threat talent as Community Christian College has officially offered him a scholarship. With a 3.7 GPA in the classroom, Keller is excited to show what he has in front of college coaches at the 2025 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game after receiving his invite earlier this offseason at the Gridiron Football Media Day.
