Jennings High School (Jennings, LA) DT Nate Broussard has committed to play in the 2025 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game, which will be held at Louisiana Christian University in Pineville, Louisiana on Tuesday, December 30th.
At 6’2, 280 pounds, Broussard brings an intimidating physical presence in the middle of a ferocious Bulldogs defense. What the Jennings standout defensive lineman does well is not only closing the gaps, but he is also a playmaker. For his size, his quickness off the snap is incredible to watch. His combination of strength and quickness has made him a four star prospect from Gridiron Football.
Throughout his prep career, Broussard has been a stable force for Bret Fuselier’s team. He has made All-District three times including 1st Team All-District the last two seasons and has been named All-Parish twice. Along with his play on the field, he has been commended for his leadership skills as a Defensive Team Captain, a Top Dog Award winner, and a volunteer coach for the youth program. This season, Broussard was unblockable with 75 tackles, 33 TFLs, 4.5 sacks, and 2 FFs.

Broussard has received offers from Louisiana Christian University and Community Christian College plus a PWO from Nicholls State, but he is looking forward to playing another game in front of college coaches at the end of the year.
“It’s truly a blessing just to know that I will play my last high school game and playing in a bowl game with people that are going to play at the college level. It really gets me a look at the competition and what it is going to look like.”
