BREAKING NEWS: Franklinton High School (Franklinton, LA) QB Jacob Crain Commits To 2025 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game!

The all-time leading passer in Franklinton High School football history has committed to play in the 2025 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game, which will be held at Louisiana Christian University in Pineville, Louisiana, and that is Demons senior quarterback Jacob Crain.

The 6’1, 190 pound quarterback set all kinds of records over his prolific Demons career including becoming the first signal caller to throw for over 5,000 yards in the school’s history. As a three year starter for the Demons, he helped turn the program around with guidance from his head coach Nick Saltaformaggio to becoming a state championship contender.

As a junior, Crain led the Demons to a 12-2 overall record and a runner-up finish in the Division II Non-Select State Championship Game. This season, he led the Demons to another great season which included nine victories and a Division II Non-Select Quarterfinal finish.

Throughout his career, he has accomplished a whole lot. Throughout his career, he has completed 329/488 passes for 5,418 yards and 58 touchdowns while gathering a bunch of hardware along the way including being named a two time District MVP selection, a two time All-State selection, and has been named Player of the Week for the likes of Gridiron Football, WGNO Friday Night Football, Fox 8, and GNO Quarterback Club, but perhaps, the most impressive feat is his overall win-loss record which is 23-6.

Rated as a four star quarterback by Gridiron Football, Crain throws with great anticipation, accuracy, and he has the ability to improvise and move outside the pocket when a play breaks down. Crain was one of the first players this year to receive his invite to play in this prestigious all-star game after being named as a Top Performer at our offseason Gridiron Football Elite Camp Series.

With a 3.6 GPA, Crain is surprisingly searching for his first collegiate offer, and he is looking to achieve that goal at this year’s Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game.

“It’s an honor to be invited to play in the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game. It is going to be great going out there and getting to show everybody what I got in the bowl game this year.”
