Franklin Parish kicker Jackson Cordill has committed to play in the 2023 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl in Baton Rouge, La.
Throughout his career, he made 52 of his 56 extra point attempts and nine of his 13 field goal attempts. He made the All-District team twice, including being named as a member of the first team his senior season.
“It means a lot to play in the Gridiron Bowl. I get to play with other players at the top of their field and enjoy the competition and plan to use it as a chance to get better.”
A player he like to model himself after is former New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees because “he holds himself to a high standard as a person and I believe in being an anthlete.”
Off the field, he was an Eagle Scout. When he gorws up, he plans on joining the medical field as a radiologic technologist.
Join Jackson and the rest of our players for the 2023 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game, which will be played at Memorial Stadium on December 30th at 6:00 P.M.
