Cecilia High School (Breaux Bridge, LA) LB Braylon Jones has committed to play in the 2025 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game, which will be held at Louisiana Christian University in Pineville, Louisiana on Tuesday, December 30th.
At 6’1, 210 pounds with 4.8/40 speed, Jones was active playmaker on the defensive side of the football for the Bulldogs over his prep career. Whether it is rushing the passer or tracking down ball carriers in space, Jones can do it all as he is rated as a four star linebacker from Gridiron Football.
Being one of the senior captains for the Bulldogs football team, Jones was named not only 1st Team All-District, but he was also named the District’s Defensive MVP by stuffing the stat sheet with 109 total tackles (72 solo), 12 TFLs, and 2 PBUs.
While leading Cecilia to a district championship and a Quarterfinals appearance this year, he was also a huge part of the Bulldogs’ first state championship win since 1995 as a junior making 1st Team All-District and being an All-State honorable mention.
The three-time All-District selection, who has been making an impact for the Bulldogs since his freshman year, received his first college offer by Louisiana Christian University and he will get to showcase his skills there for the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game in Pineville.
“I am just excited to show the coaches what I can do and what I can do on the field not just what I showed as a high school player because I feel like my biggest downfall was probably my coverage. I haven’t been able to show more of my coverage and that’s what I want to be able to show.”
