Battle For Louisiana

Both the Crescent City Kings (1-3) and the Louisiana Trojans (2-2) have high aspirations for post season play this season. Both teams have super star talent, but on Saturday July 9th at 7 pm we will find out who has prepared the hardest.

The Kings are coming off their first win of the season against the Mississippi Brawlers (0-4). The Kings scored an astonishing 70 points to the Brawlers 0. The Kings offence had over 400 total yards in the game with their 5th string Quarterback. However, that is not even the worst part. The Kings defense gave up , a never before see, -150 total yards of offense to the Brawlers! That’s right, NEGATIVE 150 TOTAL YARDS! I spent the week looking into record books of every NFL and College football game ever played and I could now find a time when that has ever been done. When you read the stats of that game, one can only assume that the Brawlers are just a horrible team, but that is far from the case. The Brawlers have scored on every team they have played this season and has not given up that many points to no other team in the history of their franchise. So have the Kings finally figured out how to win this year? How good are the Kings really?

The Louisiana Trojans has had a couple of impressive wins themselves. This team looks to give the Kings a fight in Shreveport. The game will be played at

Northwood High school Stadium

5939 Old Moorningsport Road

Shreveport,La 71107

This game will be the Brest Cancer Awareness Game so come out to a family friendly football game and cheer on your local teams. #Hailkings #NWLTrojans
