Jyric Lewis is a 6’2″, 235 lb OL in the class of 2028. He attends Breaux Bridge HS, where he maintains a steady 3.4 GPA. As just a sophomore, he took major strides not only as a player but also as a leader. As a team full of younger talent, he was forced to lead vocally, but more specifically by example, through his play on the field and his habits and mentality. He feels that holding himself to this higher standard has prepared him to dominate in his final season of high school. With size, you cannot teach and still have a chip on your shoulder to prove yourself; that is a coach’s dream. Lewis is certainly one to keep an eye on as we head into this upcoming season.
