Elton High School (Elton, LA) TE Jaylin Thomas has committed to play in the 2025 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game, which will be held at Louisiana Christian University in Pineville, Louisiana on Tuesday, December 30th.
Thomas has been one of the key building blocks for head coach Marcus LeJeune and the Indians. After an 0-10 season in 2023, all the Indians have done is go 8-4 in 2024 and 7-4 in 2025 respectively. The 6’2, 225 pound tight end/defensive end brings a physical presence on both lines of scrimmage. Over his prep career, Thomas has made All-District and All-Parish at both sides of the football. He also was a integral part for paving the way for his counterpart Makelin Lemoine to having 2,749 all-purpose yards and 40 touchdowns this season.
“Jaylin plays both ways for us so do a lot of our players that play 1A football. He is a very aggressive, go get ’em, hard nosed football player.”

Gridiron Football was a witness to that as Thomas certainly impressed as a Top Camp Performer at our Gridiron Football Elite Camp at Lamar Dixon Expo Center earlier this year. His standout performance helped him earn an invite to play in the 2025 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game. It also got him a three star rating from Gridiron Football.

The physical Thomas is looking to impress college coaches and get his first college offer at this year’s bowl game.
“It means a lot to me. It shows me that obviously when I first started playing, it shows me that I have taken another step above my game, but I still feel like I can become a better player than I am right now. I am honored to receive this opportunity.”
