The Madison Prep Chargers moved to 5-0 on the season after a forfeit victory last week against Mentorship Academy. Tonight, they will take on the Collegiate Dolphins, who hold an 0-3 record on the season. Up until this point, the Chargers have proven that they are once again a powerhouse in class 3A and plan on defending their state title. In tonight’s game, they will look to continue to dominate in all phases to get the win. Come out to tonight’s game, enjoy some football, and watch these guys put on a show.
Weekly Standouts: Senior linebacker Darion Johnson has shown the ability to sniff out the ball and make plays so far this season. This guy provides energy from the linebacker position that every team needs. Sophomore running back Tony Lewis will also make big plays in this game. In their last live game action against West Feliciana, he had some long, timely runs for his team. Also, look out for Freshman Wide Receiver Semaj Pierre in this game. This guy is dangerous in open field with the ball in his hands and has been turning many heads around the state already. Look for each of these guys to have a big impact in tonight’s game.
