JONESBORO, Ark. | The Grambling State University football team will open the 2022 season with a televised game on ESPN+ at Arkansas State.
The Tigers and Red Wolves will kick off at 6 p.m. on Saturday, September 3 from Centennial Bank Stadium and will be streamed line on ESPN+. The game will also mark the debut of Grambling State head coach Hue Jackson, who became the 14th head coach in program history.
Grambling State follows the season-opening road game against Arkansas State with a matchup against Northwestern State at the Independence Bowl Stadium in Shreveport, La. The Tigers will visit Jackson State in a non-SWAC game on Sept. 17, before opening conference play at Bethune-Cookman on Sept. 24.
Grambling State’s home opener is October 15 when Florida A&M visits Eddie G. Robinson Memorial Stadium. Season tickets for the three home games (Florida A&M, Alcorn State and Arkansas-Pine Bluff, along with games against Prairie View A&M and Northwestern State) are currently on sale.
