Thursday evening’s football game was nothing short of thrilling for the Southeastern Lions for more reasons than one. Key players D’Shaie Landor and Xavier Roberson returned after facing injuries and SLU extended their impressive regular season home game winning streak to 14 games with a 30-27 victory against the Lamar Cardinals.
The defensive line’s performance overall was strong. Senior linebacker, Herbert Harris, recorded his first collegiate interception for Southeastern.
Southeastern is set to play again at McNeese State on Saturday, October 10. Kickoff is at 6 p.m.
