The New Orleans Saints appeared to be better in tune in their third exhibition game with a 36-7 rout of the Los Angeles Chargers. Backup QB Taysom Hill needed a turnaround after last weeks dismal performance against the Cardinals. In this game Hill went 7 of 8 for 66 yards, including his first passing touchdown of the preseason, to rookie Tre’Quan Smith. Looking a little like Cam Newton Hill also rushed for an 11 yard touchdown, a two point conversion, and a fake punt play that got a first down and led to Alvin Kamara’s touchdown.
It seems that Hill has redeemed himself, for now. Sorry for the Newton comparison……… and yes he used to be with my Packers.
