Here is Messiah Wilson’s interview with me.

1. When did you start playing football?

I started midway through 7th Grade. One day, I was playing Madden, seeing the offensive line made me want to try football.

2. What are your favorite things to do outside of school?

Football is first and I like to play the game of Madden. My favorite teams to play with are the Chiefs and Ravens.

3. Do you have a favorite NCAA/NFL player to watch and why?

I would have to say Ja’Marr chase. I think he’s a great receiver to watch.

4. Do you have a favorite football moment in your young career?

I had a pull play as a guard and I wiped the linebacker out.

5. Who pushes you to be better through your football journey?

Coach Keith…. He pushes me when I have thoughts of quitting a play.

6. Do you think you’re a stronger pass or run blocker and why?

Pass blocker for sure. I’m in a two-point stance which I can be explosive off the ball.

7. What part of the nation would you like to play in college?

In the south.

8. How do you succeed as a teammate?

I try to be the best I can at all times.

9. Do you have a certain every gameday ritual?

Every day before the game, I go on the field and try to do 10-15 chest pumps to the crowd.

10. What is your favorite time of day to play in?

“Friday Night Lights”

11. Name the kind of animal you would describe yourself as on the football field.

I think I have the speed and strength to be a gorilla.
