Guice earned SEC Offensive Player of the Week honors for his 276-yard rushing effort against the Rebels, while Culp kicked four field goals on his way to earning the SEC Special Teams Player of the Week award.

Against Ole Miss, Guice averaged 12.5 yards on 22 carries as he became the first player in SEC history to have three 250-yard rushing games in a career. Guice owns the LSU single-game rushing record with 285 yards against Texas A&M last year. He also rushed for 252 yards last season against Arkansas.

Guice’s 276 yards against the Rebels ranks as the third-highest total in LSU history and is the fifth-most in the FBS this season.

Guice, a junior from Baton Rouge, earned the league’s offensive player of the week honor for the first time this year and the fourth time of his career.

For the season, Guice has rushed for 711 yards and six touchdowns. He currently ranks No. 2 in the SEC in total yards and yards per game (101.6).

Culp, a redshirt freshman from Phoenix, Arizona, was a perfect 4-for-4 on field goals. The four field goal ties for the second-most in a game in LSU history and is the most by a LSU kicker since the 2011 season.

Culp, who has now made seven straight field goals, had kicks of 35, 38, 32 and 47 yards in the win over the Rebels. He also accounted for 16 points, which ranks No. 3 on the LSU list for points by a kicker in a game.

For the season, Culp has converted 8-of-9 field goals and 13-of-13 on point-after conversions. He currently leads the Tigers with 37 points.
