LSU ATHLETICS LAUNCHES NEW SPORTS MOBILE APP FOR 2020-21

BATON ROUGE — The LSU Sports Mobile App has been re-imagined for the 2020-21 LSU Athletics season and it will give fans the opportunity to follow 21 LSU sports teams from one place. The new LSU Sports Mobile App presented by BASF is compatible with both iOS and Android devices.

The updated LSU Sports Mobile App comes with new features that will inform and entertain Tiger fans on gameday and beyond. From exclusive content, free live-streaming radio broadcasts and interactive experiences to official rosters, stats and schedules, the updated app gives our fans a way to experience LSU Athletics 365 days per year. Plus, it’s fun for fans of all ages.

“We completely overhauled our app to create a truly customized and engaging experience for LSU fans,” said Senior Associate Athletic Director Robert Munson. “Already it’s engaging, informative and gives our fans the tools and content they need from mobile ticketing to streaming broadcasts and video. And, it’s only going to get better as we continue to design new mobile solutions for our fans.”

For those fans who already have the “LSU Sports Mobile” app, this Version 7 update is available to most fans now in the Apple App and Google Play stores. To download the app for the first time, visit the Apple App Store or Google Play, or search “LSU Sports Mobile” in your device’s app store.

Fans are encouraged to enable push notifications to get instant updates about their favorite LSU teams, ticket offers, gameday information including parking and traffic, exclusive contests, and more.

The LSU Sports Mobile App presented by BASF is the Official Application of the LSU Athletics Department.

Additional features to the new LSU Sports Mobile App include:
• customizable push notifications for each of LSU’s 21 varsity sports;
• features and content targeted to fans based on geolocation, including check-ins at LSU Athletics venues;
• free live streaming audio from all LSU Sports Radio Network broadcasts, including football, basketball, baseball, and softball games, along with coaches shows and press conferences;
• up-to-the-second live scoring from most LSU Athletics events;
• access to digital tickets from the LSU Athletics Ticket Office;
• new and improved facility and LSU Athletics campus maps customized to include parking options, venue entry points, concessions offerings, restrooms, fan safety information, and more.

The new LSU Sports Mobile App is a collaboration between LSU Athletics and FanThreeSixty, an industry-leading fan engagement software and analytics company.
