Louisiana College Brings in 57 on Signing Day

Louisiana College (LC) Wildcats, Louisiana’s only D III school, is located in the center of the state in Pineville, La right outside of Alexandria. Because LC is a D III school, they cannot offer athletic scholarships. However, they do offer academic scholarships. “The notion that we do not offer scholarships, is just not true. We do offer academic scholarships to athletes that that meet the schools’s criteria and our athletic criteria,” Coach Dennis Dunn (Louisiana College Head Football Coach and Athletic Director) stated. This year LC brought in 57 recruits to compete on both their JV and Varsity football teams.
