Istrouma conquers Belaire 40-16 to advance to 5-1

To start the game off, the Istrouma Indians moved down the field with ease on their opening drive to finally get it punched in on a QB sneak by Frank Alexander. The defense of Istrouma has held their opponents to 14 points in the last two games, and that performance did not end at Belaire. It is not a Istrouma game recap with out bring up Kyree Paul, to get his night started he ran a fake punt for 54 yards and cashed it in for a touchdown with a good two point conversion to go up 14-0 at the end of the first quarter.

The second quarter should really be the Kyree Paul quarter, because he racked up 60 total yards and two receiving touchdowns, Frank Alexander also got in another QB sneak for a touchdown in the second quarter. Just like the first quarter the Indians defense was all over the Belaire, hold them to another scoreless quarter to end the half 34-0.

The second half of this game was Istrouma allowing some of the younger guys to get some playing time after the final touchdown for the Indians by Jeremiah Coleman in the middle of the third quarter. At the end of the third quarter Belaire finally got points on the board to have the score be 40-8 going into the fourth quarter. The fourth quarter by Istrouma was letting the young players get reps, and see if they flashed anything, unfortunately to start the fourth Istrouma throws an interception to put the Belaire Bengals in position to make a fourth quarter comeback but unfortunately for them the defense of the Indians did not allow any points until about three minutes left in the quarter, the Bengals score on a short pass that the wide receiver juked out multiple Indians to get the score closer, but with Istrouma burning the clock, that was all for the Bengals, with the final score being 40-16.
