I had high hopes for backup QB Taysom Hill. He looked great going into the pre-season game against the Arizona Cardinals but before long he began to fall apart right before my eyes. Fumbles, interceptions, you name it. Maybe it was the pressure of the first NFL start or just a bad day. The future looked bleak for Hill but then Savage and Barrett also delivered similarly dismal performances so he may still be in the running.
Ball security was a big issue but there was a rising star in RB Boston Scott. He has been compared to Darren Sproles and that comparison continued. Hopefully the rest of the team can get it together before the regular season starts.
