Mark Young is one of the Baton Rouge area’s most underrated skill players coming from Brusly High School in Brusly, LA. At 5’9, 165 pounds with 4.5/40 speed, Mark has the ability to play either running back or in the slot. He is a mismatch problem for opposing defenses as he can beat you on the ground, as a receiver, and as a special teams returner. Mark displays really good patience, feet, and lateral movement. The All-District runner has a strong lower body as he can squat 365 pounds in the weight room. He does not go down after the first hit and what makes him stick out the most is that he is a smooth runner that just glides his way into making big plays. Mark was a big play waiting to happen scoring 11 TDs in just 8 games played. He will get the chance to continue to show off his skills at the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game in Orange Beach, Alabama.

“I was very excited when I heard I got invited to the bowl game. It’s another chance to play one more high school game. Also, it means to me I get a chance to prove I’m one of the best in my country, and I’m very grateful for it.”
