GF All-American Bowl Commit: Caden Campisi

One of Louisiana’s leading rushers has committed to play in the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game and he is Kaplan High School running back Caden Campisi. Caden was the go to guy for the Pirates’ rushing attack as he finished in the top ten in the state in rushing with 301 carries for 1,850 yards and 23 touchdowns. The Pirates’ bell cow is only 5’9, 190 pounds, but runs like a player twice his size as he has great strength, which is showcased in the weight room by bench pressing 300 pounds and squatting 500 pounds. Caden was a weekly name on our Gridiron Football Louisiana Player of the Week list as he was on our list three times this season including when he was our number two performer back in Week 6. In a 49-35 victory over Crowley, Caden had his best performance of the season accounting for six total touchdowns including five on the ground plus over 300 yards rushing. All the hard running has given the Kaplan star offensive player a chance to play in the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game.

“My first reaction was ecstatic when I realized what I was rewarded. I went straight to my parents to tell them what happened and they were very excited, and to play in a bowl game with some of the best players in the country is incredible to think of. I am most certainly happy that all of my hard work has paid off.”
