When did you begin play football? What has motivated you to keep playing?

I started playing football when I was around six years old. What motivated me to keep playing was that I wanted to give my mom a better life and prove everyone wrong.

What has football taught you about life?

It’s taught me that life will keep hitting you with adversity, but you have to keep fighting. Everything will not always go your way.

What do you think your teammates and coaches would say about you?

I think they would say I am a good leader who won’t let them down.

What are you looking for out of a college program and what would you bring to one?

I am looking for a good fanbase and good facilities. I would like to get on the field early. I would bring intensity and physicality.

What’s your favorite thing about being a cornerback?

I love lining up with my opponent and talking trash to them. This position just has a lot of swag behind it.

What type of things do you do before an upcoming game to prepare?

I like to listen to NoCap and NBA Youngboy, they get me locked in. I just really listen to music before games.

Do you have any specific goals for this season?

I’m really trying to get a pick every game! I want at least one or two picks a game.

How do you handle wins and losses?

I never get too high off of a win, and I never get too low on a loss!

What has been the highlight so far of your football career?

The highlight of my career was when I got my first offer from New Mexico State! I work so hard for it, so it just meant a lot to me.

What’s your favorite thing about playing football in this state?

I love the fans and the atmosphere. Playing with your friends also makes it special.

What type of things did you do over the summer to stay in shape and improve your game?

I lifted two times a day. I ran the treadmill a lot to keep my cardio up. I hit the field at least once a day. I also go extra work in with my friends at the sandpit.

There are a lot of great pros that came from St. Augustine such as Tyrann Mathieu and Leonard Fournette. Would you say you look up to those guys? Or is there another specific athlete that you look up to and try to model your play style after?

I look up to Tryann Mathieu and Grant Delpit, they both went to LSU. I like to model Grant’s swagger and Tyrann’s intensity.

What is one thing could you not go a day without?

I could not go a day without football.

If you could vacation anywhere in the world right now, where would you pick?

I would go to Iceland!

What hobbies do you have outside of sports?

I just love to chill with my friends!
