Diamond in the Rough: Davidyione Bias

Davidyione Bias is a 6’2” 185lbs four-star 1st team all-state junior running back from Central Catholic High School in Morgan City, Louisiana. Bias is the 9th ranked running back in the state of Louisiana. Bias finished his junior year with 1180 rushing yards and 18 touchdowns. Bias tested out with a 10/10 in height, 8/10 in speed, 8/10 in agility, 7/10 in strength, 10/10 in hands, and a 10/10 in vision.

 

 

When did you become introduced to the game of football?

I became introduced too the game of football when I was around seven years old. My dad introduced me too it.

What are somethings that football has taught you?

Somethings football has taught me was how too have a killer mentality in every thing I do.

How would you describe your style of play?

I would describe my style of play as a shake n bake, speed/ power back.

Who are some of your biggest influences?

Some of my biggest influences I would say would be my dad and my momma. I would say this because of my dads death and everything my momma has done for me too be the young man I am today.

What made you decide to be a running back?

What made me decide to be a running back I really can’t answer that because when I started playing football I was the fastest player on my team so they put me at running back and from there on out I just stuck with it.

Are there any football players you try to model yourself after?

One football player I try too model myself after would be Lamar Jackson, because he is shifty and his speed makes up for his size.

Do you play any other sports or have any hobbies?

Yes I do play other sports which would be basketball another sport I love too play as much as football.

What is your greatest strength on the football field?

My greatest strength on the football field is my power and my ability too shifty on the field.

What is a part of your game that you are trying to improve?

A part of my game I’m trying too improve is my balance, my speed, and my strength.

What are your goals for your senior year?

Some of my goals for my senior year would be to win a state championship in football and I want to win a state championship in basketball. Another goal I want too accomplish is academically I want a higher GPA and I want too better myself as s young man by growing in faith and having a stronger relationship with God.
