Diamond in the Rough: Andrew Frazier

Andrew Frazier is a 4-star running back from Pineville High School in Pineville, LA. Standing at 5 10″ and 165lbs., Andrew uses his tall frame and long strides to cover large amounts of the field in a short time. Using his elusive footwork and patience to find the holes in the outside runs, Andrew dominates any defender that stands up against him. One cannot forget his speed and ability to break tackles in the open field along with his eagerness to deliver trucks to waiting defenders, making Andrew a force to be reckoned with.

At what age did you begin playing football and what motivated you to play this sport?

I was 5 years old, my dad motivated me to play the sport.

What are some hobbies you have outside of sports?

I like working out, I also play basketball and run track.

What has football taught you about yourself or life?

That when you fail you have to put that behind you and keep going and that you will be hit with adversity on the field and in life but it’s up to you to face it and beat it.

How do you think coaches and teammates would describe you as a player?

As a leader and a hard worker.

Where do you see yourself in four years?

If I’m not playing football at the next level I see myself in college pursuing a degree in being a physical therapist.

What would you tell younger players who want to play high school football one day?

Don’t take anything for granted and play every play like it’s your last. And be yourself and have fun don’t try to be like anybody else.

What motivates you the most?

The naysayers/non believers. That that pushes me to work harder.
